School Profile

Renaissance High School was established in September 1971, and remains the only continuation high school in PVUSD. It has been designated by the State Superintendent of Public Instruction as one of the 20 model Continuation High Schools in California.

Renaissance High School fue establecida en Septiembre del 1971 y aun permanece la unica Escuela Secundaria de Continuación en PVUSD. A sido diseñada por el Superintendente del Estado de Instrucciones Publicas como una de las veinte modelos de Escuelas Secundarias de Continuacion en California 

School Mission

Vision:
Renaissance High School is a school community engaging all students in learning the knowledge, skill and character traits required to lead healthy, responsible and productive lives as citizens of our global society.

Mission: 
Renaissance High School is a continuing education program for students in grade 10-12.  Renaissance High School is a credit recovery, comprehensive, alternative program requiring 220 credits to graduate with a full diploma.  Renaissance uses a developmental approach to education grounded in systems theory and research-based behavioral and learning practices.
