Alternative Level System

Bright bytes Survey Parents

The Alternative Level System is a method that monitors the academic and social performance of our students.  There are six alternative levels. Students may petition to higher levels after remaining on a specific level for at least two weeks.  Students are assigned an alternative level by the staff based on attendanceacademic workattitude and behavior.  Students may move up or down on the Alternative System depending upon their individual social and academic performance.  The entire staff meets on a weekly basis at which time discussion about and voting occurs on individual students.  Each alternative level includes specific academic, attendance, and performance expectations of students, as well as a description of student privileges.
